“Lori seemed to get more and more confident as the season went on last year and just kept getting better. She became a solid Division I volley player last year as a junior and we look for her to continue to improve.”

Senior Season - Played in 31 matches and 114 games for the Heels … was second in kills (369) and service aces (36) … recorded a career high 44 block assist and 50 total blocks … her 1,056 kills were good for tenth all time.

Junior Season - notched 346 kills on the season … had a career high 28 kills in the five-game upset of #4 Nebraska … finished with 265 digs for an average 2.45 … played in 31 of the 32 matches for Carolina … had 20 or more kills in three contest, and two of those times were against Duke.

Sophomore Season – Finished third on the teams in kills with 241 … Played in 34 matches and 106 games … had 310 digs, good for second on the squad … had 18 kills versus Arkansas State, a season high … had double-digit kills in 8 contests … had 41 block assist on the season including 4 versus NC State in the ACC Tournament.

Freshman Season - Had 27 block assist on the year, including 4 against Virginia on Nov. 11 … registered 13 kills versus Wyoming, then tallied 10 versus Western Kentucky on the same day … reached double-figure in kills on 4 occasions … had 10 kills versus Pennsylvania and East Carolina.

High School — Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post “Colorado Player of the Year” as a senior … Mizuno High School Honorable Mention All-America selection … helped leader Overland HS to state title with teammate Jill Peden in 1993 … three-time first-team all-league and all-state … played for the Boulder Volleyball Club … listed among Volleyball Monthly’s “Fab 50” … editor of the school yearbook … member of the National Honor Society and Student Council.
