"It's a very emotional win because it is a first for me, this program and these seniors. To be able to reach a goal like this and go further than we ever have, it's just such an emotional high for all of us."

On the home-court environment:
"I knew it would be great volleyball tonight, and I don't think anyone who came to Carmichael was disappointed. You were seeing two great teams fight it out - great swings, great hitting, great blocking and great defense on both sides."

"I thought North Carolina played great defense tonight. They had great plays at critical times - I thought that was key. I think the difference would have been the home-court advantage - we've only lost one match at home. There were a lot of things that happened this weekend that were uncontrollable. We been kind of scattered all over North Carolina, so under the circumstances I'd like to have played at home."

"You can't help but get fired up when you play North Carolina. They are a great team that is full of competitors. It was fun to play tonight. I just tried to go out and relax and just enjoy it."

On finishing her career:
"It's hard, because there are six of us (seniors), but it's been a great ride. We just wanted to give everything we had tonight and leave it out on the floor. It's the end of one chapter and the beginning of another."
