Tar Heels Take On Hawai'i Tonight In NCAA Regional

LINCOLN, Neb. - The No. 11 ranked North Carolina volleyball team makes its first appearance in the field of 16 tonight at 6 p.m. ET in the Central Regional of the NCAA Tournament, taking on No. 2 Hawai'i (32-1) in the NU Coliseum on the campus of the University of Nebraska.

Live stats from the match will be available at www.huskers.com and a match Web cast will be available at uhathletics.hawaii.edu. The match will be televised locally in Nebraska and Hawaii, with the video stream available to be purchased through www.huskers.com.

The Tar Heels (32-3) arrived in Lincoln late Wednesday night and have practiced twice on the floor of the 4,200 seat NU Coliseum. The Friday night matches, which includes Nebraska (30-1) taking on Miami (27-5) at 8 p.m. ET, sold out in less than 30 minutes.

Results will be available on www.TarHeelBlue.com immediately after the conclusion of the match.

The Friday night winners will face each other Saturday at 8 p.m. ET for a chance to go to the NCAA Volleyball Final Four in New Orleans next weekend.
