Greene, Underwood Each Record Double-Doubles in Win.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The No. 20 North Carolina volleyball team continued its perfect start to the 2002 season with a 3-1 win over the Oregon State Beavers in the second game of the University of Minnesota's Nike Invitational.

Senior captains Laura Greene and Malaika Underwood led the Tar Heels (8-0) to a four game victory, 30-18, 25-30, 30-28, 30-27. Greene had a team-high 15 kills and 19 digs, and Underwood added 10 kills and 14 digs.

Setter Eve Rackham also had a solid match, recording 38 assists and three service aces in the match. Junior Aletha Green led Carolina with seven total blocks.

Tonight the Tar Heels face the host Minnesota Gophers in the final of the tournament. The Gophers, ranked No. 13 in the latest USA Today/America Volleyball Coaches Association poll, are currently 8-2 on the season.
